Day trip to Stradbroke Island
While mum was in town , I went with Christopher , mum and the grand kids to Stradbroke Island.
This was the first time that the kids and mum had been to the island.
Its a great place for lots of reasons. It is the closest real beach to our place .It's not over crowded like the gold coast and the trip on the ferry is fun.
The down side is that it can be expensive to take the car just for 1 day. Next time we will stay for a weekend at least.
