Magnetic Island

 

Well this place was a surprise! It was recommended by a friend and I had no preconceived

 ideas of the place other than the slogan that was on the ferry ticket " Drive on to a tropical island"

It was much bigger than I thought. I was expecting a slightly bigger version of Rottenest island but it's much bigger than that. They're at least 3 communities  on the island , all with their own shops and restaurants .
