Rain Rain Go Away Come Again Another Day

Well we have finally started our adventure and are slowly travelling towards Bunya Mountains for our yearly Christmas in July weekend with some great friends this weekend.  It is COLD and WET, the wet cloudy weather is not conducive to charging our battery. We do have 8 solar panels on the roof and do get enough power to keep the fridge and lights going, we are cooking with Gas. We are staying warm and our little bed is in a nice warm and cosy cubby hole, we are sleeping very well.

Even though Bunya is only a 2 hour drive away from Coloundra we wanted to check out the little towns along the way. We left Coloundra around 6:30pm and only wanted to drive a small distance to stop and have a meal.

First stop was Cruise Park a little over night stay and rest area to make dinner and stay the night. It was a nice little spot with a great BBQ area, play ground and toilets. Sadly it looks like homeless families have been set up for some time.

We moved off early to Woodford

Next stop Woodford show grounds with fantastic hot showers.
Still no power so we moved to the Woodford Library to charge our laptops and power blocks and work for the day.
