Time to Travel west - day 1 Sydney to Katoomba

IT’S THE WEEKEND

 We started the weekend at the markets in the Show Grounds just meters from our front door.

Cute little market with lots of home made food and crafts plus second heads stalls.

This was the stash we purchases at the markets

Next we walked to the Heritage Museum  and Art Gallery 

First the Heritage Museum

They had a whole section on joh bjelke-petersen

Believe it or not but I have a pair of these, my first pair of glasses. I feel so old to see them in a Museum

 

Smallest typewriter I have ever seen

Next the Art gallery was full of home made crafts, some people are just so clever.

Buttons, anyone who knows me knows I love to collect nice buttons

We ended up walking 10km today including walking to the Apex lookout
