CARNARVON GORGE
We finally made it to Carnarvon Gorge.
We walked about 25Km. There were lots of stairs, ladders and creek crossings.
The view were amazing, I am not sure if the photos do it justice.
We had a great day though sore and exhausted by the end.
On the way to the camp grounds we saw this crash site of a word war 11 plane carrying army soldiers
And we are ready for our hike
So many stag horns and elk horns on one tree
There were lots of Aboriginal drawing to be found with stories of meeting family and getting together after loved ones passed
This photo is of the moss garden we were told the Aboriginal women came to have their babies during the hot months mainly
The running water crossings were a bit scary at times but we all managed to stay dry, though we did note some other groups did not
